My Tokyo– A personal perspective from Aron Blume
Whenever I think of Tokyo I think of the movie “Lost in Translation”. Tokyo’ians are very proud of the fact that this movie was shot in their city and are keen to point out the hotel where the story took place. For me, Tokyo is like New York City’s Time Square on steroids. The hustle and bustle, as well as the colors and lights, can be quite overwhelming, but it is always fun to escape to one of the many small noodle shops tucked away in side alleys and enjoy a few moments of reverent bliss, slurping up a rich bowl of steaming soba, udon or cold somen, or any of the other delicious meals that can be found in this energetic metropolis.
